Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) is designed to provide health care, including high-quality, comprehensive cancer care, to all Armed forces ex-servicemen and their dependents. This facility is extended either through ECHS polyclinics, regional centres, and approved private hospitals. This scheme is authorised by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India vide letter No22 (i) 01/US/D(Res) dated 30 Dec 2002.

The process of availing this scheme involves patients being referred to ECHS empanelled hospitals in Bangalore that is Apollo Hospital by ECHS clinics, polyclinics, or Regional ECHS hospitals (e.g., Command Hospital Air Force in Bangalore). Once referred, patients can contact us directly, be seen on a priority basis, and avail cancer treatments.
